San Diego, California. November 3, 2007. San Diego, California. Well, it's that time of year again! After a year of
fundraising, the grand opening at the San Diego Automotive Museum, and 40 Years to Glory, we are ready to compete in
The 40th Anniversary of the Tecate SCORE Baja 1000. We were lucky to draw 303X again. Malcolm Smith will jump off
the line just before 7 AM on Tuesday, November 13, in front of the San Nicholas Hotel in Ensenada, California. We have
joined a co-op of TV crews and will have 14 cameras capturing history as Malcolm rides down course and switches with JN
Roberts heading into Valle de Trinidad, a few miles west of Hogar de Ninos, El Oasis, the orphanage supported by
Malcolm and his foundation. We even have a dedicated helicopter that will capture aerial shots of this historic race,
including the re-creation of the switch between Malcolm and JN on another Husqvarna 40 years after that first historic
A lot has happened since the last update of the RFL website a few months back. We have traveled to El Oasis,
participated in 40 Years to Glory, attended the Drawing Party, and hosted a special barbecue for eight of the men who
raced in the first Mexican 1000 40 years ago. Check out the links and photo highlights below, then click to review each
