Today's concerts did not dissapoint.  Though the crowds were much smaller as bikers headed home
to their 9 to five world, Dan Lawson and David Lee Roth were in rare form.  Dan Lawson, a local band
that played the side stages this week, was the warmup act to David Lee Roth.  He cut through a
number of bluesy rocking numbers, including Stevie Ray Vaughn's "Pride and Joy" and "Texas Flood."
Soulful and drive, Dan Lawson, ripped through his set, leaving his fans wanting more.

David Lee Roth, short hair and all, was really amazing this night.  His guitarist, an Eddy Van Halen
clone, was spot on, note for note.  Roth worked the crowd, not letting its small size deter his efforts to
please.  "Runnin' With The Devil", "Dance The Night Away", and "Jump" were several of the oldies
played to perfection.  I felt I had gone back 25 years.  All in all, I would rate his performance as in the
top three, including Kid Rock and Edgar Winter from the previous Friday night.
