RACING FOR LIFE ANNOUNCES 2007
SPONSORSHIP DEAL!
Temecula, California. Racing For Life is proud to announce it has signed a deal with Husqvarna USA and SunStar Sprockets to provide a
2007 Husqvarna TC 510 to compete in this year's Tecate SCORE Baja 1000.  Racing For Life has renewed its pledge to raise money and
awareness for three charities this year by competing in the 40th anniversary running of the Baja 1000.  Husqvarna USA and Sunstar
Sprockets will be joining Racing For Life in a year of promotions across the nation to commemorate this historic race while educating the
racing community about these worthy charities -- The Lance Armstrong Foundation, The Scleroderma Foundation, and The Malcolm Smith
Motorsports Foundation.  Continue reading for more details!

The Julia Lynn Rides Again!

Through the generous donation by Husqvarna USA and SunStar Sprockets,
Racing For Life will be building a special edition version of the Husqvarna TC 510
to compete in the 40th anniversary running of the Tecate SCORE Baja 1000.
To be named the Julia Lynn II, in honor of Julia Lynn Filanc, who passed away
October 4, 2005 from lung cancer and scleroderma, the motorcycle will be specially
prepared to endure the grueling 1,436 planned miles of this year's 40th anniversary
race.  In December, the Julia Lynn will be auctioned off to the highest bidder with
100% of the proceeds benefiting the three charities.

MAJOR FUNDRAISING ANNOUNCEMENT

To commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Baja 1000, Racing For Life has teamed
up with Malcolm Smith, JN Roberts and
Vintage Husky to retore a 1967 Husqvarna
360 to race trim as originally raced in the first running of the Baja 1000 in 1967,
exactly 40 years ago.  Malcolm and JN were victorious in this first running of the most famous off-road race in history, winning overall AND first
motorcycle to finish!.  Both Malcolm and JN have autographed the bike, which is currently being restored to full glory by John Lefevre of
Vintage Husky, San Marcos, California.  The bike, purchased from Malcolm's personal collection, will feature authentic touches such as a
Triumph gas tank (to cover 100+ miles between gas stops!), BSA Victor Lucas magneto
and lights (the faster it revved, the dimmer the lights got!) and special factory high speed
gearing.  Shown below is a 1967 Husqvarna 360 from John's collection, illustrating what
the bike will look like before it is restored to original race trim.

MAN-MOMENT-MACHINE

Later in December this year, the specially restored 1967 Husqvarna 360
will be auctioned off with the net proceeds given to the three charities.
Once both motorcycles are completed, they will be a featured display at
the San Diego Automotive Museum and Malcolm Smith Motorsports,
Riverside, California, displayed with a historical backdrop commemorating
the 40th anniversary of the Baja 1000 and information on how you can
support these fine charities.  There will be special announcements
coming when the displays are opened.

The diorama-like display will highlight how motorcycle racing technology has dramatically improved over the past 40 years through competition
in the Baja 1000.
The MEN, Malcolm Smith and JN Roberts, The MOMENT, The Baja 1000, The Machine -- The Husqvarna will be the
focus of the display to draw attention to how competition breeds improvements in technology.  So stay tuned!!!
On October 4, 2005, Julia Lynn Filanc passed away from
scleroderma and lung cancer at the age of 50.  Her brother, Jim,
is the team captain for the Racing For Life Offroad Team.  Julie's
wishes included that donations be made to the
Scleroderma
Foundation and the Lance Armstrong Foundation.  Jim dedicated
2006 to raising awareness for these two worthy charities in her
name and encouraging everyone to give often.

"WIth the 2007 Racing Season underway, we hope to increase
awareness even further and expand our fundraising efforts to
include The Malcolm Smith Motorsports Foundation El Oasis.
WIth our major sponsors, Husqvarna and Sunstar Sprockets we
are off to a great start to exceed our expectations!"
